When Helena Hope first saw herself on the cover of SCORE magazine (Volume 31 Number 3), she felt what a lot of models say they feel when they see themselves in a printed magazine for the first time. Helena described the experience to TSG editor Dave as surreal and that the photos feel more professional in a magazine. Seeing their photos printed in ink on paper creates a different feeling compared to seeing themselves on the internet. As editors, we've long noticed the difference between a digital photo on a screen and a physical photo. Neuroscientists have studied this phenomenon.
